Ulavi - Anshi Edition

The Anshi campsite is a part of the Kali Tiger Reserve (KTR) located in the Uttara Kanara district of Karnataka. Anshi is known for thick evergreen forests, a myriad of colourful birds like the Great Pied (or the Great Indian) Hornbill and butterfly species and of course the ever famous Black Panther. The popular activities around the Anshi campsite are trekking, birding, butterfly watching, photography, following streams and visiting waterfalls. Apart from this, we visit backwaters of the reservoir, and visit ancient cave systems.
